I created this blog to share recipes, life tidbits, photos, fitness tips. I have a delicate balancing act in my life of my love of food and my love of activity. I love to bake, cook and experiment in the kitchen. I’ve taken a few nutrition course in the last couple years and loved it and hope to study more someday.
I started out in sports by running track and gymnastics in middle school. Since then I’ve done everything from ultimate frisbee to triathlon (8 and counting!). For the most part I’ve consistently swam, run, biked, hiked, and done yoga for the last 10 years. It’s kept me sane and kept my weight under control (loose control). However I’ve struggled with my weight since college and share some of that struggle here too. I live in the beautiful PNW, a pretty incredible playground for outdoor sports. Even in the rain.
